In 2019, our founder sat across from a clothing retailer in Colombo who was running their business across seven different apps — WhatsApp for orders, Excel for inventory, a separate tool for HR, another for purchasing. The frustration in the room was palpable.
That conversation became the seed for oZone Desk. We spent the next two years talking to hundreds of business owners across Sri Lanka — retail shops, restaurants, repair businesses, art galleries, online stores — and learned that the problem was universal: business management software was either too expensive, too complex, or too fragmented.
So we built something different. A single platform that actually covers everything — and is genuinely simple to use from day one. Today, oZone Desk powers over 3,400 businesses and we're just getting started.

We officially launch oZone Desk to the public. The first wave of businesses — clothing retailers, cosmetics shops, and repair services — come on board and shape our early roadmap with invaluable feedback.
We expand beyond store and inventory to launch fully integrated CRM, HR management, and a point-of-sale system. For the first time, businesses can run truly everything from one dashboard.
oZone Desk connects with PayPal, Stripe, Koombiyo, CityPak, Fardar, and local payment providers including Payhear.lk and Mint Pay — making us the most connected business platform in Sri Lanka.
We cross the 1,000 businesses milestone and launch our Enterprise plan — bringing multi-location inventory, advanced role-based access control, and dedicated account managers to larger organisations.
